INFORMATION BULLETIN ON VARIABLE STARS Number 3465 Konkoly Observatory Budapest 22 May 1990 HU ISSN 0374 - 0676 SUPERNOVA IN ANONYMOUS GALAXY By comparing the Schmidt-plates of the Konkoly Observatory obtained during the regular supernova patrol, a supernova has been found in a very faint anonymous galaxy. The plates were taken on 30.0875 UT November, 1989. The brightness of the SN is about 17.5, the galaxy is 17 mag. The distance of the SN from the galaxy center is 5.8" to SW.
