COMMISSION 27 OF THE I. A. U. INFORMATION BULLETIN ON VARIABLE STARS Number 3083 Konkoly Observatory Budapest 7 September 1987 HU ISSN 0374-0676 THE ECLIPSE OF THE LONG PERIOD ECLIPSING BINARY 32 CYGNI IN 1987 V 1488 Cyg (32 Cyg) is an eclipsing binary with the period of 1147.4 days. The last eclipse occurred in July 1987. Observations have been made with a 250/3750 cassegrain reflector at Nessa observatory. 30 Cyg (V= 4.83, B-V = +0.09, U-B = +0.15) and 31 Cyg (V= 3.79, B-V = +1.28, U-B = +0.42) were used as comparison stars. From the observations I can estimate the amplitudes in UBV to be U= 0.88, B= 0.13 and V= 0.06.
