COMMISSION 27 OF THE I. A. U. INFORMATION BULLETIN ON VARIABLE STARS Number 2657 Konkoly Observatory Budapest 23 January 1985 HU ISSN 0374 - 0676 SOME NEW SPECTRAL CLASSIFICATIONS FOR NAMED AND SUSPECTED VARIABLE STARS The variables listed below were routinely picked up for being spectral type M6 or later, or for showing probable Halpha emission, in a recently completed objective prism survey. This survey covered completely the sky north of declination -25d and further than 10d from the galactic plane, employing the visual-red spectral region. The classifications cited here were done from the 6100-6800 A wavelength region, dispersion 1000 A/mm at Halpha. None of these stars has a published spectral type that I am aware of.
