COMMISSION 27 OF THE I. A. U. INFORMATION BULLETIN ON VARIABLE STARS Number 2424 Konkoly Observatory Budapest 1 November 1983 HU ISSN 0374 - 0676 PHOTOELECTRIC MINIMA TIMES OF BX ANDROMEDAE Photoelectric observations of the eclipsing binary BX And were carried out during August and September 1982. The observations were made using a two-beam, nebular-stellar photometer attached to the 48 inch Cassegrain reflector at the Kryonerion Station of the National Observatory of Athens. The B and V filters used are in close accordance to the standard ones. The minima times have been calculated using Kwee and Van Woerden's method (1956) and are the mean values from B and V observations. The ephemeris formulae used are: Min I (Hel.J.D.) = 2436528.7777 + 0.61011534d*E (I) (GCVS, 1969.; SAK, 1982), Min I (Hel.J.D.) = 2443809.8873 + 0.61011508d*E (II) (Castelaz, 1979). From our observations four minima times (two primaries and two secondaries) were found and are presented in the following Table, the successive columns of which give: the Hel.J.D., the (O-C)I and (O-C)II according to the two ephemeris formulae (I) and (II), respectively and the type of minimum.
