COMMISSION 27 OF THE I. A. U. INFORMATION BULLETIN ON VARIABLE STARS Number 2231 Konkoly Observatory Budapest 1982 November 22 HU ISSN 0374-0676 FLARE STARS IN ORION On purpose to study flare stars statistically we have continued the photographic observations in the Orion Nebula region with the 70/100/210-cm Meniscus-type telescope of the Abastumani Observatory. 31 new flare stars (Table I) and 18 repeated flares of the known flare stars (Table II) were found around the Trapeze system. Outbursts of the stars Ab 119 and T 153 are slow ones and their light curves have double-maximum shape. Finding charts are given. R.SH.
