COMMISSION 27 OF THE I. A. U. INFORMATION BULLETIN ON VARIABLE STARS Number 2192 Konkoly Observatory Budapest 1982 August 27 HU ISSN 0374-0676 REMARKS ON FOUR VARIABLE STARS CSV 5885 CSV 5885 = Wr 67 has been suspected to be a Cepheid (Weber, R., 1958, J.O. 41.4). Variability could be confirmed and first elements could be determined from 123 Sky-patrol-plates (1959- 1976): Max. = J.D. 24 41598.277 + 1.9881921d.E (C) (11.30m - 11.90m ph., M - m = 0.35p) CSV 8736 No observations of this star (BV 120) have been published except the discovery (Geyer, E., 1955, Kl. Veroff. Remeis-Sternw. Bamberg No. 11). Eleven maxima were found on Hartha Sky-patrol- plates (1973-1978) and first elements are: Max.(hel.) = J.D. 24 41921.348 + 0.2463557d.E (RRc) (11.21m - 11.49m ph.) CSV 8883 This star (BV 326) has not been observed since its discovery by Strohmeier, W. and Knigge, R. (Veroff. d. Remeis-Sternw. Bamberg Band V.5) in 1960. Elements could be derived from 193 Hartha Sky-patrol-plates (1959-1976) and an abrupt period change in 1965 October, was detected. The elements are: a. for the interval from J.D. 24 36637-24 39029: (EW) Min.(hel.) = J.D. 24 37016.435 + 0.4900267d.E b. for the interval from J.D. 24 39052-24 43016: Min.(hel.) = J.D. 24 43015.413 + 0.4900322d.E (10.50m-10.98m/10.98m ph.) CSV 101915 CSV 101915 = 711.1933 was discovered by Morgenroth, O. (1933, Astron. Nachr. Bd. 251, 17) who also gave times of minima. A revision of 327 Sky-patrol-plates yields 3 new minima: Minimum J.D. Epoch O-C Observer 2400000+ 27275.0 - 40 + 0.3d Morgenroth 38235.5 0 +- 0.0 Berthold 372.2 + 0.5 - 0.3 39057.3 + 3 - 0.3 Used preliminary elements: Min. - J.D. 24 38235.5 + 274.02d.E (EA) (11.64m-12.75m/12.75m ph, D~~5d) Period probably must be halved.
