COMMISSION 27 OF THE I. A. U. INFORMATION BULLETIN ON VARIABLE STARS Number 1519 Konkoly Observatory Budapest 1978 December 20 UBVRI OBSERVATIONS OF NOVA CYGNI 1978 Photoelectric observations of Nova Cygni 1978 (alpha_1950 = 21h40.6m, delta_1950 = 43d48') were obtained during seven nights in September and October, 1978, with the 61-cm reflecting telescope at the David Dunlap Observatory, Richmond Hill. Observations were made with a dry-ice cooled S20 photomultiplier and Schott glass filters to reproduce the Johnson UBVRI system, as described by Fernie (1974) HR 8252 was used as a comparison star for all observations. The results are presented in Table I. Errors are believed to be about +-0.02 magnitudes. Table I ---------------------------------------------- J.D.
