                   UV Cet


      A continual photoelectric monitoring of the flare
star UV Cet was done with the 91 cm reflector of the Okayama
Station from 22 September to 5 October 1970.
      During the 8.5 hours of monitoring in the magnitude
system B, 9 flares were observed as shown in the following:

        Delta m (B) = 2.5 log(I_0+f,max/I_0)
        P = Integral (I_0+f -Io)/I_0 .dt;  sigma (mag) = 2.5 log (I_0 + )/ I_o

        The values of delta m (B),   P and d(mag) are all referred
to the total luminosity of L726-8 A+B. and not to L726-8B
(UV Cet) only.
